I have worked in marketing and PR for over 15 years, progressing from Marketing Executive to Group Marketing Manager and completing my Chartered Institute of Marketing qualifications in the process. In April 2013 after maternity leave I decided to take a leap of faith and become freelance on a part-time basis. This not only provides me with a better work/life balance, but also allows me to work on a variety of projects across the full marketing mix, which is something I love doing.
My style is not ‘soft and fluffy’, instead I prefer to take a common sense business approach to all my projects. I will question your thinking, not because I don’t understand what you want to do, but because I want to know what you are trying to achieve – this way I can be confident that you are going about it in the best way, to meet your goals.
My Chemistry degree and the years that I have spent in the IT industry means that am skilled in creating pieces with highly technical information for readers with a range of levels of technical understanding.
I’m proactive, organised and dedicated, with an eye for detail.
